Kendo Demonstrations and Competitions by Sword Masters. No English subtitles, but don't worry! There is very little Japanese narration on this footage so just sit back, relax and enjoy these masterful demonstrations.

Run time = 94 minutes. Each DVD

Disk one is footage from 1929. Mochida Seiji and Saimura Goro in competion. Takano Sasaburo and Nakayama Hakudo showed Kata (basic forms) of Kendo.

Disk two is footage from 1930. Iai by Nakayama Hakudo, Kata of Katori Shinto Ryu by Motomiya Toranosuke and Hayashi Yaemon. Naginata by Sonobe Hideo and Yamauchi Teiko. Competition by Haga Junichi, Noma Koichi, Tamari Sannosuke and others.

Disk three is footage from 1930. Kendo Championship Japan and special matches such as Ogawa vs. Saimura, Mochida vs. Nakano, Oasa vs. Hotta and others.
