As the sole inheritor of the secret techniques taught to protect the Ryukyu Royal Family, Master Uehara has allowed this amazing lineage to be available to the general public for the first time.

The Ryukyu dynasty long prospered as an independent country lying in between Japan and China.

One of the main line houses of the royal family passed down a form of Bujutsu.It’s existence was kept a secret and was only permitted to pass to one child each generation in the main house of the Ryukyu Royal family line.

This particular Bujutsu, differs from the Karate or Kobudo developed on the Japanese main land.It incorporates punches and kicks as the main form of Taijutsu, but uses particular weapons from Okinawa such as the Sai, Nyuchiku, Toufa along with things such as swords, spears, Naginata, bamboo brooms and so on.

Another characteristic of this art is that it trains you to be able to attack many adversaries effectively. It is Bujutsu for real combat that targets the head in order to win with one attack.
